"I'm not dead yet!" I haven't left web design world, sillies! Sorry for not updating.. I've been wanting to buy my own domain; $15 dollars/year is good, no? Shit happened and I had to hastily transfer a new layout to my fanlisting (here). Come visit me at http://livejournal.com/~vorspeir. But MOST importantly, I have learned of Adobe ImageReady's sexy capabilities and can make delectible animated icons
such as this: Oh, Friends! Listening to: The White Album - The Beatles It is 11:22 PM. Today started out horribly. As I was leaving for my volunteering job at the hospital, my mom’s stewpid dog escaped into our neighbor’s yard and I had to throw the sticky, smelly mutt back over our fence – and I got disgusting dog dirt on my uniform! I went to work looking and feeling like crap. Things turned around during lunch though. My usual lunch-buddy wasn’t there cos he had a school-related orientation at Southwest, so I ate lunch by myself in the atrium. Four packets of sugar-substitute make for some yummy coffee. I crossed my legs, sipped my Starbucks and perused the front page of The Wall Street Journal like the pseudointellecual that I am. (It’s loads of fun- try it!!) Somehow, I ended up in a convo with a man who just happened to have a daughter in the medical field! He gave me her cell number and I’m supposed to call her tomorrow to chat. Lol, wow. Old folks think I’m a nice person for some reason. <333 I volunteer in the “nutrition” section in the hospital on Wednesdays – a euphemism for the kitchen, I s’pose. After the lunchtime rush around 2 o’clock, a group of us will sit down in the dim cafeteria; it’s a chance to rest our legs and converse. Normally we wouldn’t think about it, but cooking is a pretty demanding job; after all, how much sitting can you do during an 8-hour shift in the kitchen? So John says to Patrick, “Hey, have you had a taco?” He told me that he got $10/month in Thailand; in the United States he makes $1000 in the same amount of time. Shiiiit. [/Platoon-y reference] NPR reported yesterday that a person living in poverty in the US would be considered middle-upper-class in other parts of the world. Haha, that's not news.. ”Hey, look Alicia, mom made food.” . . . I honestly forgot. *headdesk* There was a 2-layer chocolate cake with pink, white, and green icing. It was good – except for the wax bits. . . It was just my sister named Alicia, my mom named Carmen, and myself at the party. My dad named Troy is out of town for business. And more good news! (OMG, really?) Jason fixed our good computer! (been using the Windows 95 and school ones since) I messed it up because I didn’t shut it down proper like and the blue-screen-of-death appeared with the text “UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME.”
And OMG! Harry Potter? Like, *runsincircle*. I don’t know what to think about Ron’s new found whoredom. Do I hate it? - or do I like it??? *snort* WHATEVER! In the meantime, while you desperately wait for Michelle to create some eyecandy, . . . PIMPING CATHOLICINSIDER.ORG ! ! !
